I took to triathlon late at 45, without going into too much detail this was due to previous injuries etc.  Fast forward 9 years my disability badge has expired and I have found a passion/obsession for triathlon and found a great interest in the science behind it.

I’m now in my 3rd year with Richard as my coach.  Why?  He knows his onions this lad.  Proven track record as a triathlete and a coach who understands how to bespoke the required training load to the individual without breaking them.  More importantly, every session is beneficial with no junk miles.

I’ll never be at the pointy end, but for me getting to the start line is a great acheivement. I have seen massive improvements across all 3 disciplines since I have been with Rich and cant see another season without getting to the start line and achieving more PR’s.

This year is up in the air obvoiusly and I have 3 events rolled over from last.  IM Lanza,  Lakesman Full and the Brutal Triple.
